Master exams
Students take multiple-choice written examinations at the end of each of the four semesters and an Objective Structured Clinical Examination examination (OSCE) at the end of the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters.
The examinations focus on the main topics studied during the semester. They are structured to simulate the Federal exam in medicine and include:
- multiple-choice questions;
- practical examinations involving patient-actors (OSCE = Objective Structured Clinical Examination).
Federal exam
The Federal exam in medicine takes place upon completion of the 3-year Master programme, and only once the student has obtained the Master’s degree. It includes two separate exams:
- Multiple choice exam (MC), an interdisciplinary theory exam split in two parts;
- Clinical skills exam (CS), following the principles of an OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination).
