Inauguration of the new laboratories of the Institute of Oncology Research

Inauguration of the new laboratories of the Institute of Oncology Research (IOR). The press conference to present the new laboratories of the Institute of Oncology Reserach (IOR) will be held on February 21st at 10:45am, in Via Pometta 1, Bellinzona. The Institute has been affiliated with USI since the beginning of January.  

While waiting to move to the Bellinzona Campus, the new spaces in via Pometta will grant researchers of the Institute better working conditions. 3 out 5 IOR research groups, for a total of 35 researchers, will move to the new laboratories that will also host several Doctoral students.

IOR wil lcontinue to function within IOSI (Oncology Istitute of Southern Switzerland) and is managed by the Foundation for the Research and Cure of Lymphoma in Ticino. 

Prof. Franco Cavalli, President of the Foundation will open the press conference and Prof. Mario Bianchetti, Dean of USI Faculty of Biomedical Research will close it.
