Six scholarships of the Zonta Club Lugano Foundation for the academic year 2022-2023 awarded

The Zonta Club Lugano Foundation awarded six scholarships to university students, each of 4'000 CHF. The ceremony was held on Friday, 10 March 2023, at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, in the presence of political and academic authorities.
Founded in 2001, the Zonta Club Lugano is a service club member of Zonta International. Among its objectives is promoting education in all fields and all over the world. The Zonta Club has so far supported 127 students with a total of 508,000 francs.
Scholarships were awarded for the academic year 2022-2023 to:
- Matteo Arcuri, Breganzona, student at SUPSI, Conservatory, piano
- Alessia Astorino, San Pietro di Stabio, student at USI, Faculty of Biomedical Sciences
- Milou Leiting, Castione, student at the University of Basel, psychology
- Agnese Marchetti, Caslano, student at the University of Zurich, biomedicine
- Milo Maricelli, Bellinzona, student at the Academy of Fine Arts Florence, sculpture
- Denise Righini, Novaggio, student at SUPSI, Teaching
