Institutional Communication Service
11 December 2023
The seventh lecture of the course Culture and Health - Healing Words will be held on Monday, 11 December 2023, at 6 pm in the East Campus multipurpose room. Lorenzo Donati will present a lecture on Social Theatre. According to the leaders and pioneers in this field, the persuasive power of theatre-making does not replace other roles, such as those of educators and psychologists, but rather complements them. The lecture will begin with several artistic and theatrical definitions, followed by a discussion on the characteristics and effects of theatre in its interactions with the social context.
Mauro Manconi, as discussant, will underline how this type of assistance is fundamental in responding to emerging social problems, particularly among vulnerable populations.
