Fees and scholarships

Fees

The tuition fee for all students enrolled in a Bachelor or a Master at USI, including those attending the Bachelor of Medicine at Universities of Basel and Bern, is CHF 4’000 per semester. Tuition for applicants whose residence was in Switzerland (including Liechtenstein) at the time of obtaining the high school diploma (maturità) is CHF 2’000 per semester. All fees must be paid before the beginning of each semester, by the deadline stated the invoice. Payment is a requirement for enrolment or renewing registration.

Scholarships

The Università della Svizzera italiana informs that various public and private institutions offer scholarships to students enrolled in Bachelor and Master programs. For information on available opportunities, please consult the dedicated page.

For students enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine and the Master of Medicine, we would like to highlight the availability of the Bachelor of Medicine scholarships offered by the Foundation for the Lugano faculties and the scholarship dedicated to Master of Medicine students provided by IBSA Foundation for Scientific Research.

For students in the Bachelor of Medicine and Master of Medicine programs, we would like to note the availability of the Bachelor of Medicine scholarships offered by the Fondazione per le Facoltà di Lugano and the scholarship for Master of Medicine students provided by the IBSA Foundation for Scientific Research.
