Simulated Patients

The Simulated Patients Program is part of the OSCE practical clinical examinations that students of the USI Master of Medicine have to face at the end of each semester of study.

Who is the simulated patient?
It is a person who assumes the role of patient in the practical examinations of USI medical students.

What does the simulated patient do?
He plays the role of a patient defined by the examination case.

What does the simulated patient not do?
He is never subjected to clinical examinations in his private parts, nor to maneuvers or invasive acts.

What are the characteristics necessary to become a simulated patient?
Reliability, responsibility, commitment and bilingualism (I/D).
